Message in a Bottle was initiated by the Lions Clubs in Britain, but is now a part of emergency care services. It is a simple way for people to keep their essential personal and medical details in a common location, where it can be found by emergency services i.e. the fridge. Paramedics, police, firefighters, and social services all support this life-saving initiative and know to look in the fridge when they see the MIAB stickers displayed in the home.
The bottle kit contains a plastic bottle, a form, and some indication stickers. You simply complete the form, put this in the bottle and the bottle in the fridge. Stick one sticker on the fridge (or back door) and another by the front door in a prominent position.
